In recent years, KB Hotels’ team successfully led the Hotel Indigo Waco-Baylor from development to being ranked as one of the top hotels in the Hotel Indigo brand. Each year since opening the Hotel Indigo Waco-Baylor in the spring of 2012, the hotel has ranked in the Top 5 of all Hotel Indigos, and in 2015, it was named the #2 Hotel Indigo in the nation by guest satisfaction, with a 90.52 overall guest experience rating. Over the last several years, the KB Hotels management team has been recognized with numerous accolades, including:

  • Three Quality Excellence awards, including most recently in 2017
  • IHG Rewards Excellence Award in 2015
  • The Torchbearer Award in 2014 & 2016 as the #1 Hotel Indigo in the Americas region, including North and Central America
  • Ranked #1 in Overall Experience for the entire Hotel Indigo brand in 2014
  • 90% or higher Quality Inspection scores in all categories in 2014 and 2015, exceeding the brand average in every metric

Today, Hotel Indigo Waco-Baylor has emerged as a premier hotel for the Hotel Indigo brand, and a flagship hotel for KB Hotels Hotel’s team. Michael Fitzmaurice, the Director of Market Performance for Hotel Indigo in North America, describes KB Hotels’ achievements as “stupendous.” In an article written by Chisholm Crossing featuring the Hotel Indigo Waco-Baylor, its success was credited to the team going “above and beyond” in all areas including front desk check-in to first impressions of the room to interactions with wait staff at the bar and restaurant.”
